Trellix

Trellix (Musarubra US LLC, formerly FireEye and McAfee Enterprise) is a privately held cybersecurity company founded in 2022. It provides hardware, software, and services to investigate cybersecurity attacks, protect against malicious software, and analyze IT security risks. In June 2021, FireEye sold its name and products business to Symphony Technology Group (STG) for $1.2 billion. STG acquired McAfee Enterprise in an all-cash transaction for $4 billion in July 2021. STG combined FireEye with McAfee's enterprise business to launch Trellix, an extended detection and response (XDR) company. McAfee Enterprise's security service edge (SSE) business operated as a separate company known as Skyhigh Security.
