Known as the national carpet city of Iran, Ravar produces a distinctive type of Kerman carpet, and is also well known for its vast pistachio fields. Ravar has two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Chah Kouran Caravanserai and the Chehel Payeh Caravanserai.
