Fobello borders the following municipalities: Alto Sermenza, Bannio Anzino, Carcoforo, Cervatto, Cravagliana, Rimella, and Rossa. The automotive engineers Vincenzo Lancia (1881–1937) and his son Gianni Lancia (1924–2014) were from Fobello.
