bumble bee

Machine-translated from the Polish article

Bumblebee – the common name for a large, stocky and densely hairy bee with a black coloration, usually with broad, transverse yellow or orange bands. In colloquial speech it is often mistakenly called a "bumblebee" (bąk). In Polish literature, the name "trzmiel" refers to social bees of the genus Bombus.
