Legislative elections were held in Russia from 18 to 20 September 2026, to elect all 450 seats of the State Duma, the lower house of the Federal Assembly. Going into the election, United Russia was the incumbent and largest party with 310 seats. The legislative election took place during the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war. It was the first Russian legislative election to take place in the occupied territories of Ukraine and it was also held in Transnistria, an occupied unrecognized breakaway region of Moldova.
